Sanding an existing floor flat, then staining and finishing it. Containment goes up on day one, and the site gets cleaned every evening you are living in it.

Treads, risers, stringers and returns cut and fitted to your stair. It is the most visible joinery in the house, so none of it gets covered with trim to hide a gap.

Wide-plank engineered wood over concrete slabs and radiant heat, where solid wood moves too much. We test the slab for moisture before anything is glued down.

LVP and LVT for basements, laundry rooms and anywhere standing water is a real risk. Same subfloor prep we give a wood floor.

Subfloor and layout
We check the subfloor for flatness and moisture before anything is ordered. Then we set the layout so the run works with the room and the seams fall where they should — not where the box ran out.
Board selection
Boards get sorted as they go down. Character goes where it reads well, and the pieces that fight the room get cut out instead of installed and explained later.
Transitions and edges
Where wood meets tile, the wood is scribed to the tile. Edges and corners get worked by hand, because that is where a machine-sanded floor gives itself away.
Sanding
Flat, in sequence, through the grits. Skipping a grit saves an hour and shows up in the finish for the life of the floor.
Finish
Applied as a system — sealer and topcoat specified to work together, under our LOBA-Wakol Connected Systems certification. Coats go on after the previous one has actually dried.
Final walkthrough
Christian walks the finished floor with you before the job closes. Every transition, every reveal. It does not close until you say it does.
From the first walkthrough to the final coat, Christian stays on the project. You are not handed to a salesman on day one and a rotating crew on day two.
He carries LOBA-Wakol Connected Systems certification and works to NWFA-aligned standards. The work is residential only, and the service area stops at Metro Atlanta — both on purpose. A small area is what makes it possible for the person responsible for the floor to be standing on it at the end.
